Based on his thesis uncovering historical queer spaces, architect Dexter Wong joins a panel to talk about the queer history of Perth.

“The queer history of Perth can be traced as far back as early 1901.

“By looking at queer history through a local lens, in Perth, a concentration of queer spaces emerge. A mapping of Northbridge’s queer history shows that Northbridge intertwines heavily with queer history. Acknowledging the importance of Northbridge’s queer history is an important step forward for the public, but also empowers the current and future queers in Perth.”
