A hands-on walk around workshop with architectural photographer Frans Parthesius.

Offering you the chance to challenge yourself to find your own perspective on one of the most exciting buildings in Perth. In the process you might meet some like-minded people and pick up some new insights on architectural photography.

Who is this workshop for?
For anyone interested in both architecture and photography. For architects and architecture students.

Experience is not important, although the workshop is based on you being familiar with the operation of your camera.

What equipment will you need?
System camera with wide or standard zoomlens, or (moderately) wide prime lens. Fixed lens camera (Ricoh GR, Fujifilm X100 series or equivalent). Smart phone equipped with good quality camera.

What’s the program?
10:15 Welcome with coffee and tea
10:30 Introduction and assignment briefing
10:50 Walk towards our assignment goal, taking some photos along the way
11:00 The shoot
12:00 Walking back
12:10 Brief evaluation, questions and sharing experiences
12:30 Goodbyes!

All attendees are invited to share their best shots using an Instagram hashtag (to be announced at the end of the workshop). Frans will provide you with feedback the week after.
