Mainstreaming Environmentally Sustainable Design in WA

  • City of Vincent 244 Vincent Street Leederville, WA, 6007 Australia (map)

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT

Presented by the City of Vincent and Local Government Planners Association WA

This is a showcase for property professionals, designers, local government planners and sustainability officers to explore best practice examples in WA around how sustainable design can be embedded in the design process and local planning framework.

From design, to planning policy and processes, all the way through to construction and beyond, this session will highlight case studies to follow and build upon to deliver improvements to the quality of buildings and their liveability.

The discussion will focus on how we can support, incentivise, and help to better inform residents on the benefits of environmentally sustainable design, including how we can best plan around and retain existing and mature trees to achieve sustainable design outcomes.

The aim is that you will walk away with a few green ideas that your organisation can implement and build upon!
