Interpretation and Integrated Design

  • Element Advisory 191 Saint Georges Terrace Perth, WA, 6000 Australia (map)

Presented by Element Advisory

Urban design, the arts, planning, heritage, and culture all play a part in how we experience and interact with our built environment. Join element as we discuss how these diverse disciplines work together to create cohesive design outcomes that bind communities and enrich the essence of our public realm.

How do we as design professionals collaborate to leverage better outcomes for our projects? How does public art and interpretation get integrated as a design outcome?

In a collaborative panel discussion, our thought leaders will present a variety of case studies where urban design, place making, heritage and public art management come together.

Projects will include the Midland Railway Station redevelopment and the Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridges, currently under construction.

Speakers:

  • Andrew Howe, Principal Urban Design

  • Suzie Zuber, Principal Place

  • Flavia Kiperman, Principal Heritage

  • Kate Parker, Principal Arts and Culture
