Gallery Central will be the focus point for SHINE, a showcase of excellence from the 2022 Creative Industries Graduates at North Metropolitan TAFE.

The exhibition features next generation talent and creativity from the disciplines of Animation and Game Art, Screen and Media, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, Product Design and Visual Arts.

This is a unique opportunity to experience emerging creatives across Art, Design and Media in Western Australia today.

LAUNCH evening: Thursday 23 March 2023

Creative ‘Try-A-Design-Skill’ sessions 5:30-6:30pm

Official Launch 6-8pm

The SHINE 2022 Graduates exhibition will run from 24 March to 14 April 2023.

Exhibition hours: 11am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

North Metro TAFE warmly invites you to partake in an exclusive 'TRY A DESIGN SKILL' event at the grand opening of the 'SHINE GRADUATES EXHIBITION' on March 23rd, hosted by Gallery Central with activities and celebration kicking off from 5:30pm.

Start your Perth Design Week journey by diving headfirst into the captivating world of 'screen printing' by personalizing your very own TOTE BAG. Then, immerse yourself in a delightful 'vintage letterpress' A5 postcard activity that will serve as an exclusive Perth Design Week memento and hand-printed masterpiece. Plus, unleash your inner furniture designer - design and make your very own miniature chair. Mix and match a range of classic and contemporary parts to construct your very own, bespoke, mini 3D chair model.

This is an exclusive North Metro TAFE 'TRY A SKILL' event at the opening of the SHINE graduate exhibition on March 23rd, hosted by Gallery Central.
