PDW 2026: Digital Detox Lounge

Inspired by the @offline_club this year we tried something different at Perth Design week - and it was a great success!

The Mark at the State Buildings was a PDW hub again this year with a twist, curated and created by Ligne Roset Perth. In the evenings, we hosted a program of talks, but this time in a relaxed Ligne Roset lounge setting. And by day, the space becomes our very first "PDW Digital Detox Lounge".

We invited people to switch off their computers and mobiles phones (after the obligatory social media snap!) and settle back with a coffee, while browsing design books and magazines, or maybe leaving a sketch ... because design isn't just about progress, it's also about wellbeing.
